High Flexibility

The heading of OXFORD is late in the spring, which provides good quality for a long period before heading starts. Therefore OXFORD offers high flexibility for forage use.

Advantageous Growth Height

The growth height is medium. The growth of OXFORD enables it to compete sufficiently with tall growing grass in mixtures.

Lodging no Problem

OXFORD performs a good resistance to lodging which ensures that cuts can be taken without soil pollution.

Perfect Density

The density of OXFORD is intermediate which is ideal for a Poa pratensis variety when used in mixtures with other grasses.

Good Resistance

The winterhardiness is good and OXFORD has proved a very good resistance to crown rust and a good resistance to other common diseases in grasses.

The yield of green- and dry matter of OXFORD is high compared with other forage grass types.
