A Very High Digestibility and Sugar Content

The digestibility of CALIBRA is high, which is related to the high sugar content of the variety. This gives a high feed intake under grazing and good quality when used for silage.

14 tonnes DM/ha in Finland

In Finnish trials Calibra yielded around 14 tonnes drymatter/hectare in the first year and 8-9 tonnes in the second. Good spring growth combined with intermediate heading is useful for early production, and the regrowth and production over summer is high.
