Very early springgrowth Very high yield Increases midsummer production Winter hardy | |
Tall Fescue Type
Main traits for HYKOR is high yield potential, persistence, resistance and tolerance to high level of subsoil water. Compared to meadow fescue and tall fescue, HYKOR has better feeding value – higher content of sugar and energy.
Quality and Persistency
HYKOR is suitable for silage mixtures together with perennial ryegrass, hybrid ryegrass, lucerne or red clover. The festulolium increases the persistency of the mixture due to the deeper root system and tolerance to dry conditions.
Early Starter
HYKOR has a very early growth start in spring and a massive production in the first part of the year. The summer production is high - due the good tolerance to summer drought, which often affects other grass species.
