Partner 1 = the best mixture for heavy wear
SportMaster has been known to be the most outstanding mixture for sports fields for heavy wear. It has proven to have the highest ability for regeneration after heavy use. This is to due to the types of grasses used in the mixture.
Perennial ryegrass is one of the most well adapted grasses for sports use, as the structure of the leaves and growth secures the best wear tolerance.
Poa pratensis is unique in spreading by underground rhizomes. Festuca rubra is added in order to guarantee a solid grass cover especially in situations where the input of water and fertilizer level is not 100% adequate.
Partner 2 = iSeed® - the food package
New germinating and establishing seeds need readily available nutrients. The normal way of applying fertilizers by broadcasting over the area, gives a uneven availability of important nutrients, Nitrogen and Phosporus, essential for the best establishment. iSeed® is a patented method of adding substantial amounts of these important nutrients, Nitrogen and Phosphorus, directly onto each seed without harming the seed. The seed is able to germinate with its own food package ensuring the best possible establishment in the field.
The use of iSeed® on grass seed has been developed in partnership by DLF-TRIFOLIUM and Yara.
iSeed® technology is subject to patents and patent appliction by Yara International ASA. iSeed® is registered trademark by Yara International ASA.
