High resistance to red thread
Red Fescues are particularly interesting for low input turf. One of the diseases that are favoured by low N fertilisation is red thread. VALDORA is one of the more resistant varieties.
Better wear tolerance
Wear tolerance is not the strongest feature of Red Fescues, but VALDORA again is in the high end!
Extended use and extended adaptation
VALDORA performs very well in Germany (scores 8-8-8 in RSM 2010 for ornamental, lawn and low-cut management), in France (high ranked for ornamental, lawn and sports use). In the STRI trials, the performance is very high as well in lawn trials as in green trials.
