The main use of Creeping Bent is on golf greens. This is due to the very high recuperative capacity and shoot density of the species, which makes it very adaptable to the close mowing regimes used on these areas. Creeping Bent can also be used in mixtures for very dense lawn mixtures due to its soft leaves and dense growth.
