Perennial Ryegrass Intermediate 4n
High Yields in Permanent PasturesThe drymatter yield of MISSOURI is high, however what especially characterizes MISSOURI is the improved yield in year 2 and 3 compared to other varieties.
Very High PalatabilityTrials with grazing cows have showed a high preference of tetraploid varieties compared to diploid ones. This is mainly due to the higher sugar content of tetraploid varieties. Trials have showed that plots with MISSOURI are highly preferred by the animals, and thus grazed tightly leaving the plots clean without any remaining old grass.
Very Good PersistenceThe very good ground cover as well as the winterhardiness makes MISSOURI a preferred variety for permanent pastures in Germany and Switzerland. |
